ROYAL ENFIELD now has a new home in Edinburgh. Welcome to Royal Enfield Edinburgh.

“The Royal Enfield brand continues to grow, the new Himalaya arrives spring 2017 to add to the already successful models in the range. Exciting times ahead!

Royal Enfield Edinburgh has the full Enfield range and a selection of demo bikes.

With the arrival springtime of the much anticipated Himalyan, the 2017 model range is looking like the most exiting to date. With all models now Euro 4 ABS, the brand is going from strength to strength. 2017 also seeing the launch of a hire fleet too from March.
‘The word is that we are expecting 3 new models by 2018, but the current range are such great bikes to ride that there’s a lot of interest, ‘ explained Ian. Working of a range of Specials based on the Classic 500 Battle Green and Desert Storm and the team also have been successfully developing a Stage 1 performance pack for the GT increasing power by 60% over standard. With a bespoke locally made stainless exhaust system, air box conversion and a Dynojet PCV with custom map designed in house on Ian’s Dyno.
Certainly sales have soared in the last 12-months, and now with a main dealer in Edinburgh that will go from strength to strength with the eagerly awaited arrival of the Himalayan, which is already taking deposits!

With his well known enthusiasm for ‘something a little different,’ Ian will be providing new and existing owners’ with spares and servicing facilities as opposed to just a shop window for Enfield products.
‘The whole staff are super keen and get on really well with the guys from Royal Enfield UK. We have a great time working with the brand, and we are all looking forward to watching the brand grow in the coming years. It’s really exciting to be in from the begining,’ explained Ian.
‘I had already ridden the GT and honestly, I think it’s a great bike from the value for money point of view. It’s absolutely bullet-proof and great fun. I think for a lot of owners’ it could be a great second bike and obviously the café racer styling is spot on with the current trend. I was sold on the bike before we considered taking it on.’ And now with their Stage 1 conversion kit it will be even more appealing. The Classic Bullet range offers the very enviable ability to offer a true British Bike feel, but at sensible money. And with exceptional reliability too.

The dealership sits alongside the Ducati Service Centre where Ian also does a brisk trade in second-hand machines. The showroom currently features a host of interesting machines from a pristine BMW R1200 GSA to a Triumph Trophy and even earlier this week, a Ural sidecar combination.
